My husband and I stayed here with our guests for our elopement weekend and it was the perfect place for us. The house is stunning with so much space, and there’s so much to do from the hot tub and sauna to the arcade games and movie theater. Our guests kept saying all weekend how great it was. Jake is also a great host who went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. I’m so glad we chose the Ev Lodge for our weekend getaway, and we will absolutely be coming back for a future stay. 10/10 highly recommend!

We had an incredible time! The house was beautiful and extremely clean. The property was spacious, well designed and private. Jake was responsive, understanding and a pleasure to work with. We will definitely be returning the next time we are in KC!

We absolutely loved this property! We visited Kansas City with several children, and they had such a blast playing in the creek and enjoying the bunkhouse. There were so many activities for the kids to do, and the property itself was amazing. We also had relaxing evenings together as a team and are so thankful we had the opportunity to rent this beautiful home.

Awesome place for a guys night out. We loved the open patio, grill and fire pit! We didn’t really need all the extra space in the bunkhouse but a great space for large groups for sure!!

We had the most incredible stay at The EV Lodge! I hosted my in-person photography workshop here and it was absolutely perfect for our group. Every single attendee was blown away the moment they walked in, the space is even better than the photos.
It’s so thoughtfully designed and ideal for hosting groups. There was plenty of space for everyone to gather, connect, and relax comfortably. And the amenities… truly next level. We were obsessed with the sauna, hot tub, fire pit, and the outdoor projector screen, such a fun and unique touch that made the experience even more special.
Everything about our stay felt seamless, and you can tell so much care has gone into creating this space. I’m already looking at booking again for my next workshop. Highly, highly recommend!

No surprises with this beautiful home. The hosts had the house well stocked with all the little things as well. From towels and shampoo to double washer/dryer and laundry pods. We had everything we needed while we were there. If you are in KC for a sports event this would be a great place to stay with 4 other families. Let the kids sleep in the cabin!!

5-star house. Location was within 1-2 miles of a variety of restaurants and in a clean/safe neighborhood. Everything in the house was super high quality, down to the details of providing Figi waters in every BR & so much more! I used the gym in the mornings and we had a blast in the theater room watching Netflix standup comedy! This would be great for families or a corporate retreat. I stay at a lot of STRs and this is one of the best I have experienced. Overall, great things to say about Jake and his place!

This house was an absolute gem for our spring break getaway! We had three families staying together, and the space was perfect for our group. The Overland Park location couldn't have been more convenient.
Our host truly stood out. When the AC went down during our stay, he jumped into action immediately and went above and beyond to get it resolved as quickly as possible — even treating our whole crew to ice cream in the meantime. That kind of thoughtfulness is rare and made such a difference.
The house was spotless upon arrival, and he was flexible enough to let us check in early without any hassle. Communication throughout was fast and friendly — exactly what you want when traveling with a big group.
Highly recommend this listing and this host. We'd stay here again in a heartbeat!

We had an amazing time! Everything we wanted and needed for a relaxing week away. Amenities for all ages! The swings by the creek were so peaceful, the home was beautifully staged and impeccably clean, and the cabin was a fun night out! Just so much to do! Jake was extremely responsive and helpful with suggestions on where to try BBQ! Definitely a must do!

It was an awesome Birthday location for my wife’s Birthday. Plenty of room for our 4 adults children, and 17 year old grandson. My wife loved the house. We have some great pictures from the stay. Jake was awesome. Always responding quickly to questions. Always provided great suggestions. Thanks for everything.
