The Ev Lodge was designed as a place for families & friends to reconnect where modern comfort meets the nostalgic spirit of summer camp. 𖠰LARGE GROUPS-READ BEFORE BOOKING𖠰 Ev Lodge comfortably sleeps up to 21 guests across two unique spaces. For the best experience with 10+ adults, we strongly recommend only booking mid-March through mid-November. During winter months guests sleeping in the cabin should plan for cozy layers and may prefer to keep kids or cold sensitive guests in the main house. This historic cabin by the creek is a structure dating back to the 1800's where a young President Truman is said to have spent time! It has been transformed into a bunk-style retreat with 4 full-size bunk beds, creating a nostalgic summer camp feel for kids or group getaways. Equipped with an electric fireplace, electric space heater, 3 ceiling fans, AC, and walkie-talkies to stay connected with the main cabin! Located 200 yards away is the main cabin which sleeps 13 guests and features 5 beautifully designed bedrooms, each with a king-size bed and cozy duvet bedding. Two upstairs bedrooms include twin bed sleeping nooks, perfect for little ones. A queen air mattress is stored in the upstairs hallway closet for added flexibility. 𖠰 BATHROOMS 𖠰 With 5 full bathrooms, everyone can get ready without a wait. The main floor primary suite features a clawfoot soaking tub for a touch of spa like indulgence. The second main floor bathroom includes a double vanity, dual rain shower heads, and heated floors! The basement bathroom offers a sleek rainfall shower and allows for easy access for those sleeping at "Camp Truman" by the creek. Each space is stocked with plush towels, toiletries, and thoughtful touches to make your stay effortless. 𖠰 KITCHEN DINING & LOUNGE 𖠰 At the heart of Ev Lodge is a renovated kitchen with stainless steel appliances. It’s perfect for everything from pancake mornings to serving up evening wine hours. Step into your indoor dining for 18 people with a kids table located in the living room. Let in the natural air by opening the 9 foot wide bi-fold doors to access your outdoor kitchen, equipped with a natural gas grill, mini fridge and ice trough. Enjoy outdoor dining for up to 21 guests under the string lights. Back inside, the living room invites you to unwind on a 13.5-foot sectional and gather around the cozy electric fireplace. This room is stocked with board games & arts and crafts so your kids will feel right at home! Unwind watching your favorite show on the large Roku Smart TV equipped with Netflix during your stay. 𖠰 OUTDOOR SPACE 𖠰 Ev Lodge’s 6-acre grounds are where the nostalgia truly happens. Relax in the Zen garden, complete with a hot tub, 4-person sauna, cold plunge, and outdoor shower. Watch the stars from the stargazing dome, toast s’mores at the firepit lounge, or enjoy dinner under the string lights. Adventure seekers will love the private disc golf course, laser tag, archery range, tug-of-war area, soccer nets, and bucket golf! Enjoy your morning coffee in the treehouse overlooking the creek or grab your favorite book and relax on the treehouse hammock floor. The swing set and rock wall are sure to bring out everyone’s inner kid! When the sun sets cue up your favorite film in the outdoor movie theater by the creek. With enough seating for 21 people, it's a perfect end to a perfect day. Just outside of the garage is a Tesla Universal EV Charger w/ Integrated J1772 adapter to conveniently charge any electric vehicle. This is a dog-friendly home as long as your dog is 12+ months, well trained, and housebroken. By booking, you accept responsibility for any damage/extra cleaning your dog causes during the stay. No dogs left home alone unless crated. Please clean up after your pet and keep them off of the furniture. $100 per pet fee.

Guests have full access to both the main lodge and the creekside cabin, as well as all indoor and outdoor amenities throughout the 6 acre property. There’s plenty of on-site parking and please no cars should drive or park on the grass. We provide smart lock entry and easy self check-in. Each of the bedrooms are equipped with Roku Smart TVs for your leisure with the exception of the creekside cabin. The property is located only 4 minutes from highway I-49 which allows for easy access to all Kansas City has to offer!
